MVP’s are what we call our kids and their families; they are the “Most Valuable Person” on our team and the reason we do what we do. Our MVP Leagues will give children and teens with special needs the opportunity to learn the skills of the game while building relationships with others.

WHAT: Our first MVP Sports focus will be basketball. We are partnering with the John Brown University women’s basketball team and Coach Jeff Soderquist. Each MVP will be teamed up with a student athlete to learn the skills of the game. Teams will be split up into age groups: 7-12 years old and ages 13 and up to young adult.
WHEN: Our pilot league will launch on Thursday, August 31, 2017, and run on consecutive Thursday nights from 7:00-8:00PM through September 28, 2017. Dates are as follows: 8/31, 9/7, 9/14, 9/21,9/28.
WHERE: Murray Sells Gym on the campus of John Brown University, 2000 West University Street, Siloam Springs, AR 72761.
HOW MUCH: $50 for Ability Tree members (membership is $25/month) and $100 for non-members. Cost includes a custom Ability Tree basketball and MVP Sport-Tek shirt.
